About The Role
  
Working with designers, developers, scientists, existing IT Admin and others to provide all levels of helpdesk support and ensure internal systems support the development of the software and products being developed.
  
Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a local network including security devices, servers, workstations, etc.
  • Mobile device management and security
  • Manage the selection, purchase, maintenance and decommissioning of hardware and software to support business activities.
  • Maintain switches, routers (CISCO) and associated technologies 
  • Maintain and update IT policies, procedures documentation and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relations
  • Stay up to date with industry trends
  • Maintain and secure passwords, file system security and data integrity for desktop environment.
  • Maintain server, upgrade, secure system backups and disaster recovery preparation. 

Required Skills and Experience

  • 2 years+ experience as a System or Network Administrator with some network admin experience
  • Experience managing or maintaining an office network including security devices, servers, workstations, etc
  • Broad technical skills across IT Infrastructure, in particular, across the Networking and Server environment.
  • Configuring and administering Networks, switches and routers
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure tenancies
  • Knowledge of servers, upgrades, secure system backups and disaster recovery preparations.
  • The ability to manage IT policies, procedures documentation and configurations.
  • Strong interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • CCNA / CCNP would be advantageous
