Embedded Search have been engaged by one of our customers who develop tech solutions for the Health sector to source a Software Test Analyst for a permanent role based in Brisbane.
This organisation are focussed on developing, manufacturing and commercializing the next generation of digital diagnostic products for clinicians and consumers. Their core focus is the accurate diagnosis of common, burdensome illnesses where our technology will have maximum impact on healthcare outcomes. The products are distinguished by their digital capabilities, technical performance, ease of use and rapid time to result.
We are looking for a Software Test Analyst to support the entire Software development cycle including concept, design, implementation, testing, release and support.
Responsibilities:
- Work with designers, developers, scientists and other to make ensure quality of software and products
- Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, UI/UX
- Write, maintain and execute test plans
- Support user Acceptance Testing
- Manage testing projects
- Take ownership of software and system testing processes and procedures and liaise with management and developers about priorities.
- Evaluate user needs and system functionality then ensure that software development efforts meet these needs.
Skills and Experience:
- ISTQB or equivalent certification and/or 3+ years applicable work experience
- Big data testing, cross platform testing, component testing, security testing, performance testing
- Ability to perform root cause analysis
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with test management tools like Quality Center or Zephyr
- Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing,
regression testing, mobile testing, UI/UX testing - Up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing developments.
Keen attention to detail - Experience testing software in a medical device or similarly regulated industry
