A Product Manager is required to drive the expansion of an industry leading product around Australia and globally.
About The Role
As the Product Manager you will manage the full product lifecycle including pre-sales, project delivery, product development, product direction and support. This will involve working with the marketing team to develop content, and raise awareness of the product.
Responsibilities
- Be an ambassador for the product
- Workshop features with the teams to break down work into appropriate tasks
- Manage the product backlog, prioritising and updating it based on evolving business requirements
- Manage the process of development to delivery
- Work within a cross-functional team in planning product releases
- Ensure that the product backlog is visible, transparent, clear to all and used effectively
- Monitor product delivery and evaluate product progress; identify and address issues
Required Skills and Experience
- The ability to provide product direction, incorporating requirements from different clients, and market demands
- Experience managing software projects and a team of developers and consultants
- Project management experience from pre-sales, project delivery, through to support
- Proven experience in a technology company delivering products to a high standard in demanding environments
- Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence in an AGILE methodology
- Excellent Agile Story Writing skills
- Excellent stakeholder management capabilities and ability to lead as a peer
- Technical knowledge of Python or C++ will be advantageous
You will be responsible for partnering with both internal stakeholders as well as clients to drive best practice and evolution in the approach to clients and their customers in the ever-changing digital environment.
