About the Role
Due to an internal promotion we are looking for someone to lead their technology function and act as a Chief Technology Officer. This is a “hands-on” role where you will be expected to scope, estimate, deliver and maintain the product.
Responsibilities
- Get up to speed with existing Tech Stack and develop new functionality
- Find and Fix Production Buys
- Manage a small team of 3 developers and 1 Sys Admin
- Product development
- Scope and Plan Pieces of work
- Design and Architecture
- Develop into a CTO
Experience
- Deep coding / software engineering ability
- Proven ability to implement software using modern software architectures, such as microservice and event-driven architectures, and test-driven development.
- Knowledge of products that are based on Cloud management Platforms with mobile apps
- Leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills
Tech Stack
- Python
- Decoupled Microservices architecture
- DynamoDB for Storage
- Typescript + React
- React Native
Knowledge of Python is not essential if you are skilled in similar languages with a strong engineering background.
