About the Client and Role
Leading Infrastructure asset player is looking for an Azure expert to drive their Azure integration across their technical landscape. This is a massive program of work and with a prestigious employer using the very latest Microsoft technology.
Experience and Expereince
- Development and technical support of API and data products to both internal and external software developers
- Triage and debug Azure issues and drive resolution by escalating to the appropriate individuals/teams
- Provide technical onboarding and support to 3rd party software platforms leveraging API and data products
- Continuously refine, optimise, and automate the API and data integration delivery and support process
- Manage technical support documentation including formal specifications and sample code/applications
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and other supporting teams to define product requirements, system design, and delivery cadences
- 5 or more years of combined development experience with Java, C#, or other comparable object-oriented programming languages
- 2 or more years of experience developing using the Azure environment – DevOps, ARM templates, Power Shell, Logic Apps, Web Services etc
- 5 or more years of experience in roles that required strong interpersonal communication including collaboration, negotiation, and conflict management skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to triage and root cause product issues
- Ability to learn new technical skills including new software programming languages, frameworks, and debug tools
- Ability to collaborate and influence across functional teams
- Experience in developing and supporting RESTful web services
- Experience with Azure Data Analytics tools e.g. Stream Analytics, Cognitive Services, Machine Learning
- Experience with developing IoT solutions using the Azure stack
- Experience leveraging data analytics and visualizations tools, such as: Qlik Sense or Microsoft Power BI
