About the Client and Role
This unique SaaS company have a real competitive advantage and have gained in excess of 50% of the Australian market resulting in a push overseas.
They have developed a product / solution that has captivated their target market and helped lock down existing customers.
With new clients being on onboarded there is now a requirement for an Application Support Consultant to join the support team to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Undertake root cause analysis, develop and implement solutions within an agreed timeframe.
- Monitor the application support requests and providing regular status reports on service levels.
- Developing and maintaining an understanding of the functionality of in-house and third-party information systems and assisting staff in the effective use of these systems
- Supporting the rollout of new business processes and software systems
- Documenting system functionality and support procedures
- Monitoring and supporting system tasks such as electronic data interchange (EDI)
- Provision of general Help Desk support to end users for networking, printing, email, etc
- Allocating tasks to team members, monitoring their performance and assessing the outcome
Experience
- 3-5+ years’ experience working in a Technical Support environment and Applications support
- Excellent troubleshooting experience of complex problems.
- Technical skills such as mssql, reporting (SSRS), web (HTML, XML, SOAP).
- Experience with project management, team leadership, customer/stakeholder management, change management
- Support, Windows, SQL, Restful API’s, and Data Interchange
- Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and in an easily understood manner to users where required.
- Experience supporting web-based solutions
- Demonstrated understanding of software solutions and their application
- Excellent customer service and frontline technical support experience.
- Experience of working JIRA / Confluence
