About the Client and Role
Our client is at the forefront of developing Bio-Tech medical solutions globally. They have a long history of producing market-leading technology that transforms the healthcare space whilst having a tremendous impact on the communities and society in general.
Due to natural growth a requirement has arisen for an experienced Android Developer to join the technology team here in Brisbane.
Essential Skills
- Building mobile applications that support health care professionals
- Developing services that interact with back-end RESTful APIs.
- Assisting the Senior Android developer to deliver software features and updates.
- Ensuring that we ship high-quality software that delights our users
- Experience developing and debugging Android applications using Android Studio.
- Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Demonstrated knowledge Android SDKs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
- Knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
- Interfacing with bespoke hardware on a mobile platform
- Developing internet facing applications
- Experience developing and debugging iOS applications using Xcode.
